Our Story
Our Roots
Yogadelic was founded in 2024 by partners Gloria and Alex Novaa in the wake of the death of three family members, Alex's father Frank, his uncle David, and Gloria's uncle John, all within a year of each other and all of whom suffered from depression and substance abuse. We recognize that poor mental health is the largest threat that our families and our world face. We believe the philosophy and discipline of yoga are incredible tools for healing and holistic well-being. We believe you can run a successful business that exists to achieve a multifaceted mission beyond the singular goal progressively larger profit margins.
Our Mission
1) Create clothing from materials sourced as sustainably and fair as possible, of excellent quality, and with messaging to promote yoga and raise awareness on mental health.
2) Create epic yoga and meditation learning content.
3) Create community through ecstatic dances.
Our Name
The highest Yoga means to experience oneness with the universe.
Delic is a latin suffix that means to have an experience.
Yogadelic means to experience the feeling of oneness with the universe.
We believe that yogadelic is an innate and natural phenomenon of feeling "whole" and that life without this "knowing" creates a void that we humans try in vain to fill with addictive behaviors. We leave no stone unturned in our quest to help other seekers know this "First Peace".
Our Gift
: Use 5% of profits to teach kids yoga, either through non-profits in schools or community classes at local yoga dojos, and 5% of profit to support psychedelic therapy and research.
Yogadelic is a for-profit business. Today we do epic T-shirts and learning content. We throw consciousness-altering ecstatic dances to free the soul and create community. We pledge to give at least 5% of profits to teach kids yoga and 5% to support psychedelic research and therapy.
